Welcome to the

Jacksonville Machine Knitters Club!

We are a group of knitters in Jacksonville and the surrounding areas. On the third Saturday of every month, we meet at Knittin' in the Woods from 10 a.m. 'til 12 noon (or there 'bouts) to learn, share and generally have a great time. Our group has knitters of every skill level and ability. Members take turns giving demonstrations, so there is always a variety of things to learn. Sometimes it is a way to make something easier, sometimes it is a complete pattern. It is always interesting! Many of our members are accomplished designers and teachers, many are just beginners, but all love to knit! There is a wealth of talent here, great teachers and great folks!

We take turns providing goodies to snack on as well, and we do eat well!! Several times a year we invite guests to come to Jacksonville for workshops and seminars. So far this year we have had Thelma Viers and Helen Griffiths. Both were terrific, and we enjoyed having them here.

If you are in the area, come join us! The first meeting is free, then dues are only a dollar per meeting. Members enjoy a 10% discount on purchases made on Club Day, excluding machines.
